Rana has over 25 years of executive level experience making significant impact within marketing, sales, and business development across multiple industries and platforms. Rana joined Metro to lend her diverse experience and extensive range of strengths, to assisting Metro’s already senior team to continue to develop a broader client portfolio, specifically around; “C” suite executives, channel development professionals, marketing and sales operations/enablement experts.

Rana has architected, launched and executed channel sales and strategic alliance programs for companies of various sizes, including identifying potential partners and negotiating partnership agreements with partners ranging from small businesses to F100 companies. Her contributions have also encompassed all aspects of sales – including management of direct and indirect teams, forecasting and pipeline management, training, ramping and hiring sales reps and establishing new territories; and business development and marketing – product management; marketing – including product marketing, marketing communications activities, PR, event management and seminars, lead generation and training. Rana is frequently called upon to pioneer businesses and programs and has successfully participated in the creation and design of strategic initiatives requiring both internal and external C-level buy in. She is also often responsible for the successful implementation of these plans, which have contributed to cumulative revenues of almost $500M.
Rana has a B.S. in Marketing, School of Business and an M.A. in International Transactions, School of Public Policy, from George Mason University. She is fluent in German and speaks conversational French and Arabic. Ms. Kahl is a published author and is active in several professional organizations. She is also a very active cancer cure advocate, and has received numerous honors for her advocacy work, including a reception honoring her at the White House by the President and First Lady, as well as awards for Survivor of the Year and the BMW Local Survivor Hero. She has appeared frequently live and taped, on television and radio, conducts print interviews, emcees events and has been a keynote/panel/guest speaker for almost two decades.
As part of the start up team at CareerBuilder, Rana led and executed numerous strategic marketing plans, sales strategies, channel and partnership activities, programs and initiatives, accelerating the company’s growth from early company stage to half billion dollar, public entity. She contributed her extensive industry knowledge and experience to both Monster and Yahoo! HotJobs in a marketing, sales, and business development capacity, including the launch of a Federal sector within all three companies. At ADP, Ms. Kahl led a team developing a channel sales function in an $9B, traditional, direct sales environment, while working directly with high profile partners such as AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Blackbaud, and Wells Fargo, while also owning responsibility for ADP’s mobile workforce and non-profit partner strategies. In the nonprofit sector, Ms. Kahl had global responsibility for the channel sales function at Convio and then transitioned to Blackbaud post-acquisition, culminating in highly productive working relationships with Microsoft and Saleforce.org, opening new lines of business for both Blackbaud and its partners. At Cornerstone, Ms. Kahl transformed the channel sales function while architecting strategy and direction, setting record revenue performance for indirect sales. Ms. Kahl has also worked with several organizations across various industries, advising on marketing, general business strategy and development as well as sales.
